Become An Herbalist
REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED
Welcome to the beginning of your transformation........the plants are a catalyst for finding the wild woman or man deep inside you that has been yelling at you to come out. It is my pleasure and honor to help you along your journey!
In this 7-month course we will cover everything herbal and at the end, you will be an herbalist! One weekend per month we will discuss various native NH plants and their medicinal uses, and talk about the systems of the body and which herbs are best for imbalances. We will also do many hands-on projects including, making lotions, facial scrubs, infused oils, extracts, syrups, and salves and balms. You will also learn how to blend teas for pleasure or medicine and how to harvest, dry and store herbs too. Most weekends we will go out into the fields and forest to look for plants and at the end of the 7 months, you will have created your own materia medica.....a complete cross-referenced card catalog of plants, their actions, and uses.
All class attendance is required to get a certificate as well as 25 additional hours with me learning how to harvest, store and process herbs as well as learning applicable state and federal regulations regarding shop operations (FDA cGMPs). Call or email me to sign up.
